About The Bluu Room
Type once and copy the same text in any Unicode style. Half of this site is in Spanish, and nothing you type leaves your browser.
These are characters, not fonts
A font is a rendering instruction that travels with a document. What this site produces is a
different set of CHARACTERS — mathematical alphanumeric symbols, circled letters,
fullwidth forms — that happen to be shaped like styled Latin letters. That is exactly why
they survive a paste into a profile bio, which carries no formatting at all.
The consequence nobody mentions
A screen reader does not see styled text. It sees the characters’ real names and announces
them one at a time, so a styled sentence becomes unusable to a blind reader. Use these for a
decorative line in a bio; never for the substance of a post, and never for a name somebody may
need to have read aloud.
Why there is a Spanish half
Decorative lettering is asked for in Spanish as often as in English, and
letras bonitas is a different query from
fancy text with a different audience. The styler leaves
accented characters exactly as typed, so a name with an ñ or an accent survives the
conversion.
What we do not do
No account, no sign-in, nothing to install. The text you type is converted in your browser
and never transmitted to this site.
