Unicode characters are a public standard and are not owned by this site. Copy anything here
and use it anywhere.

Where not to use it

Styled characters are unreadable to screen readers and are not searchable as ordinary text.
Do not use them for anything where being read or found matters — accessible content,
legal or official text, or a name somebody needs to look up. Some platforms also refuse them in
a username, and a few treat unusual characters as an attempt to evade moderation.

Not for impersonation or evasion

Do not use these characters to imitate somebody else’s name, or to write something that a
platform’s filters would otherwise catch. That is a misuse of a decorative tool and, on most
services, a violation of their terms.

The written content

The explanations are ours. Quote them with a link; do not republish pages wholesale.

No warranty

Provided as is. Character support varies by device, operating system and font, and a style
that renders on one machine may show as empty boxes on another.

Changes

These terms may be updated. Continued use after a change means the updated terms apply.
